It seems like things are falling apart for us lately. Classes suck, the car broke--then fixed--then broke again, washing machine crashed, computer crashed, Tony received a speeding ticket, and Tuck hurt his leg. I wonder if we should pay for the air we breathe too??
Thank you God for these trying times, but do you think we can be done now? Amen

My advice about the speeding ticket---FIGHT IT. If the officer doesn't show, he doesn't have to pay and no points. If the officer shows, hopefully s/he's nice and will talk with Tony before the judge calls them up.
When I got my speeding ticket several years ago, Jer convinced me to fight it, even though I knew I was in the wrong. When I got there, I was waiting for court to start and the officer called me out into the hallway. He asked me if I was serious about fighting it kinda like he was in disbelief that I'd fight it). I told the officer I knew I was speeding, and that I didn't care about the fine, I just didn't want the points on my license. After discussing this with him for a few minutes (he was really nice), he agreed to have it changed so that I wouldn't have any points added to my license. When the judge called us up, the officer asked what the judge could do and the judged changed it to impeding traffic, which is 0 points and a little lesser of a fine (I think).
MAYBE Tony can tell the officer he doesn't care about the points, but can't afford the fine (whether it's true or not) and maybe they can come to an agreement where Tony won't have to pay a fine at all....or at least a lesser fine.....
Just a suggestion....
Anyhoo....sorry life is crummy lately. That seems to be the trend for a lot of people right now. (((hugs)))
Something one of my friends told me last nght when I was down: God doesn't give us smooth mountains to climb because we'd slip and fall if they were smooth! Hang in there!!!
